Position **The Retail Inside Sales Representative is responsible for planning, organizing, and executinginside sales efforts for assigned accounts within the retail segment. This role focuses onachieving sales objectives, meeting call quotas, and supporting the Outside Sales Team indriving revenue growth. Additionally, the position involves developing and implementingstrategic sales plans to enhance territory, distributor, and account performance.Key *Achieve sales targets for retail products in alignment with approved sales and marketing plans.Execute an active follow-up program to engage existing customers and identify upselling opportunities.Proactively generate new sales leads through outbound calling efforts targeting retailers across North America.Provide dedicated sales support to assigned Outside Sales Team members.Optimize freight costs by strategically adding products to existing sales orders.Select the most cost-effective and efficient freight carriers for Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments.Collaborate with supervisors to communicate key insights and developments related to assigned accounts and sales representatives.Participate in corporate meetings to analyze business activities and contribute to strategic planning.Strengthen relationships with key decision-makers through proactive engagement and a combination of push and pull sales techniques.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests related to product performance in a professional and timely manner.Manage the third-party Electronic Data Interchange vendor and support with processing all electronic orders, new customer setup, troubleshooting, etc.Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and *Organizational *Ability to plan, prioritize, and monitor tasks effectively.Establish schedules, deadlines, and quotas to meet sales goals.Look over reports every day and stay on top of requests.Communication & Interpersonal *Strong listening and comprehension abilities.Ability to effectively communicate complex information, concepts, and instructions.Proven ability to engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders professionally.Decision-Making & *Evaluate and assess alternative courses of action.Analyze potential impacts before executing decisions.Align decisions with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.Support recommendations with data and sound rationale.Manage multiple distributors with integrity, diplomacy, and efficiency.Education & ****Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service.Previous experience in sales roles focused on distributors, architects, or contractors.Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.Technical knowledge relevant to the retail product line is a plus.
