The position will be working with a team responsible for implementing key financial models, including interest rate, housing, credit risk, etc. Besides excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Python and SQL experiences are required for data analysis. Mortgage industry experience is highly desirable. Passing CFA or FRM exams is preferred as well.Job Duty:Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to be implemented in the financial forecasting engineParticipate in the data preparation, code development, and reporting to support baseline and ad hoc analyticsProvide timely, relevant, robust analyses to support business decisionsContribute to automating processes related to the implementation of various methods and models in the Forecasting EngineCollaborate with team members and interact across organizational lines to meet business objectivesFollow appropriate controls and standards established to maintain and create documentation for processes & reportsAnalyze / explain results, review trends, and perform sensitivity analysisQualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in quantitative finance, statistics, mathematics, economics, data analytics or a related quantitative field,3+ years of relevant work experienceProficiency in programming and/or data analysis languages such as SQL, PythonFamiliar with Unix/Linux shell scriptingExperience working with large data sets and relational databasesStrong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExperience and ability to organize cross-department meetings to collect business requirements and present project status.Mortgage industry experience preferred but not requiredPass CFA / FRM exams preferredKeys to Success in this Role:Ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervisionGood at reaching out to anyone to acquire the necessary informationStrong data analysis skills with Python and SQLAble to resolve end-user issues promptly
