Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Orlando, Florida!Duties:Lead hands-on data engineering development across multiple projects, ensuring scalable and efficient data solutionsDesign, develop, and optimize database schema, tables, and views to support business needsBuild and maintain data pipelines using technologies like Airflow, Python, and SnowflakeDevelop automation solutions to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflowsImplement data validation and proactive monitoring to ensure data integrity and accuracyOptimize performance tuning for databases, queries, and data processing workflowsDesign and implement data visualizations to provide insights and support analytics initiativesManage containerized deployments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines with GitLabLeverage AWS cloud services for scalable and cost-effective data infrastructureCollaborate with data science and analytics teams to enhance existing data pipelines and support evolving business needsMaintain and improve the data engineering codebase, ensuring best practices in software development and data managementProvide operational support for existing data pipelines, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing functionalityDesired Skills/Experience:3+ years of overall technical experienceExperience with ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenanceHigh Proficiency in SQL codingProven experience and expertise using Python, Docker, Snowflake and/or PostgresAbility to showcase an understanding of one or more business domainsPrior experience gathering and refining data requirements and producing data design solutionsExperience leveraging job scheduling software like Apache AirflowExperience with developing in a multi environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DevOps procedures for code deployment/promotionExperience using containerization technologies such as Docker or KubKnowledgeable on cloud architecture and product offerings, preferably AWS Benefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans401K offered$43.47 - $62.10 (est. hourly)
