Senior Salesforce Developer (Hybrid - Newark, NJ)Contract to Hire | Long-Term Contract - No third party Corp to Corp please. Must be able to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.We are seeking Senior Salesforce Developers for a long-term contract opportunity. This role offers the potential for contract-to-hire.Objectives of this Role:Create custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.Support, maintain, and improve the functionality of existing Salesforce applications.Develop and maintain integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to identify and implement system improvements.Ensure compliance with Salesforce security and development standards.Your Tasks:Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning, and other technologies.Create technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, and design documents.Work collaboratively with technical teams to gather and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices for both existing and new Salesforce solutions.Stay updated with new Salesforce features and functionalities and recommend best practices for enhancing existing implementations.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.6-8 years of demonstrable experience in software development.Proficiency in Salesforce administration, including Salesforce Lightning Framework, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning, and other Salesforce development technologies.Understanding of the Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills and Qualifications:Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, or Administrator.Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
