Our extensive range of experience includes industrial, commercial, large mixed-use, hospitality, healthcare, education, municipal and multi- and single-family residential projects. From large-scale industrial projects to preliminary feasibility studies, our goal is to provide value through creative and cost-effective design solutions. We currently have 4 locations across Texas and growing: Houston, The Woodlands, Austin and San Antonio.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Manager in our Land Development Department at WGA, you will provide oversight of projects while developing a team the WGA way. You will work with our clients and a team of engineers and technical support professionals to complete each task to be best in class. You will also:Lead team of engineers and other technical staff to successfully deliver single family development projects.Be respectful of client timelines through effective coordination of project tasks, budgets and schedulesParticipate in the development of company design and production standards to continue excellence within our technical expertiseBe open to new ways of accomplishing goalsSeek guidance from other leaders; be open to suggestions in various aspects of project managementApplies diversified knowledge of principles / practices in broad areas of assignments.Makes decisions independently on problems and methodsEngineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction and delivery phases for Land DevelopmentPlans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of a major projectSelects procedures and checks complete reports and calculationsDevelop understanding and follow WGA with QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practice and laws related to area of practiceBuilding and maintaining relationships between project teams and collaborating to ensure that technical, quality, cost and client requirements are implementedCoordinating with outside sub-consultantsPreparing a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholdersThe candidate must have experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects, and a desire to work in a multi-disciplinary teamRepresents WGA in client and industry related conferences, organizations, and meetings.Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leadersPrepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates and requires an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordinationLead and mentor junior members of WGA to provide best in class service.Qualifications±5 years of experienceBS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources EngineeringProfessional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of TexasCivil design with a minimum of 2 years experience managing a team and clients for the completion of single family, residential projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasksExtensive knowledge of design and construction practices which, by passing on that knowledge to others will aid in your successProven experience and willingness to identify new opportunities with existing clients as well as having the confidence and ability to develop new client partnershipsProven ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employeesProven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leadersEEO STATEMENT: WGA LLC is committed to providing equal opportunity to all qualified applicants and its employees.
