Project Manager

Job Summary:Dexian is seeking a Project Manager for an opportunity with a client located in Mahwah, NJ.Responsibilities:Responsible to provide input of work stream business objective outlined in the Joint Replacement Project ChartersBuild and track overall project timeline; Monitor and mitigate overall project risksProvide input for CER creation and submission; Track and manage work stream project expensesCreate a resource plan; Manage all project resource and prioritize tasksResponsible and accountable for delivery of project Gantt chart commitments within time, resource and budget constraintsResponsible and accountable for OnePPM inputs and reportsSet up weekly meetings with vendors, track meeting minutes and actions for individual processesIdentify alternative solutions and approaches to overcoming project issues/risks while proactively communicating meaningful project measurements and KPIs per expectationsAssist in management of multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the teams overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are metEvaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a projectLead engineering projects; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delaysManage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of serviceRequirements:Requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervisionProfessional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalentProfessional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arriveAttention to detail in making evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual informationA minimum of 4 or more years experienceEngineering Degree - Mechanical/Bio medical but really any engineering degreeMed Device or Pharma backgrounds are preferred.
