Job Title: Technical Program ManagerLocations: Redmond, WA - OnsiteDuration: 12 Months Contract on W2 (Possible extension)Our Client is looking for a candidate with experience with consumer device product development and who can work across a team of hardware and software engineers and product managers to help the team deliver high-quality wearable products on time.As a Technical Program Manager on the team, youll ensure the overall product delivered is efficient, long-lasting, secure, and stable, accelerating the impact of experienced teams delivering groundbreaking innovations. Youll have the chance to work with many teams (e.g. product development, infrastructure, automation, research, production engineering, data science, data engineering) across Client Teams.The right candidate will possess a strong technical program management, and consumer product development experience background, and will have demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives across multiple product, software, and hardware teams. The candidate we seek should have a strong background in managing consumer electronics projects to achieve system KPIs, preferably with experience in Power or Performance domains, and a solid track record of working cross-functionally with multi-disciplinary teams. The candidate needs to be able to drive large bodies of work independently through collaboration with other stakeholders such as System/Product architects, Software Technical Leads, Software and Hardware Managers, and Validation domain experts.Top 3 HARD Skills:Exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Able to distill complex processes and information sets into informative and actionable communications.Partnerships: Able to engage with a wide range of disciplines to align on clear direction and responsibilitiesLeadership: Able to work autonomously, engaging partners to identify priorities and self-direct work towards the organizations goalsGood to have skills: Experience building systems and processes for observing and improving battery, power, and thermals for a HW/SW systemExperience building systems and processes for observing and improving user-facing quality for a HW/SW systemMinimum Qualifications6+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager managing software or consumer device programs from inception to productionExperience delivering technical programs or products from inception to deliveryB.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experienceCommunication and interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team.Knowledge of software development and product development processes and best practices.Experience processing and analyzing large data sets using an MS Excel / G-Sheet. Scripting experience in SQL and Python programming is a Major plus.Experience leading cross-functional teams (software and hardware engineers, peer TPMs, and product managers).Experience in managing multiple programs concurrently.Experience in communicating program status, risks, and planned mitigations to technical experts and leadership.Preferred QualificationsExperience building systems and processes for observing and improving battery, power and thermals for a HW/SW systemExperience building systems and processes for observing and improving user-facing quality for a HW/SW systems
