Project Engineer DIRECT HIRE ROLEResponsibilities *****On-site project administrationPromote a safe worksiteMaintain positive relationships with the field management staff, owners, engineers, vendors, and subcontractorsProcess shop drawings and submittalsSolicit shop drawings from vendorsReview for conformance to plans and specifications, completeness and accuracyIdentify interface with other tradesMake corrections as needed and secure approval from engineerExpedite material deliveries. Control material deliveries so they are on the jobsite when needed, not too early, but never late. This is critical to efficient material management.Discover and resolve interface conflicts between the company and subcontractors, as well as between different subcontractors.Procure temporary facilities and supplies - trash, water, internet, sanitary, etcAssist Company's field supervisors on interpretation of drawings, specifications, RFIs and questions for and from the engineer.Participate in preplanning (proactive and reactive analysis).
