Civil Engineering Designer - Stormwater

A civil engineering firm is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Designer to work on municipal stormwater projects. The role involves planning, design, and preparation of construction documents, with a mix of remote and in-office work near Uptown Charlotte.**Develop construction cost estimates, traffic control plans, and erosion control plans.Coordinate with utility representatives, surveyors, engineers, and property owners.Attend site meetings to provide project updates and address conflicts.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.2+ years of design experience, preferably in stormwater projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic/hydrologic principles.Strong communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders.Must pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record review.***EI or EIT certification.Experience with GIS.This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful municipal projects while enjoying a flexible hybrid schedule.
