Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and support Estimating, Proposals, Pre-construction, construction, inspections, and turnover of successful projects. The Project Engineer will be someone who is organized and completes tasks in a timely manner. In addition, they will need to be motivated by success and willing to go above and beyond what is expected.ResponsibilitiesEstimate, compile bids and generate proposalsDevelop construction schedules on Primavera P6Maintain schedules through updates, revisions and distributionProject cost review (receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations), reporting, updating, and accounting (progress billing, billing cycle)Coordinate and schedule deliveries/vendors/subcontractorsManage material and equipment procurementCollect and review Vendors/Subcontractors invoices for accuracy and completenessProcess Submittals, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, RFI's, Change Orders, Claims etc.Provide technical support to the superintendentManage project ***** tracking documentation, and compiling and submitting to OwnerMaintain other required records needed by the clientAssist the Project Manager on daily operationsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent related field; experience in the waterworks industry preferred2 years of experience as a Project EngineerGood organization skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to simultaneously manage diverse number of projectsComputer ***** Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), SAGE, Primavera P6
