Job Title: 3PL Sales RepresentativeLocation: Atlanta Metropolitan Area (Powder Springs, GA)Job Type: Full-timeDepartment: Sales & Business DevelopmentReports To: Manager - SalesJob SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven 3PL Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our third-party logistics (3PL) business by identifying new sales opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the overall sales process. This position requires a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and customer acquisition strategies to drive revenue growth.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development· Lead Generation. Identify, qualify, and engage potential customers who require 3PL services, including warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment.· Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing customer relationships.· Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential sales opportunities.· Deliver presentations to potential customers accurately showing DPWagner's value proposition· Conduct thorough consultations with prospective customers to understand their current logistics challenges, inventory management requirements and shipping needs· Customer Relationship Management via Hubspot CRM· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers by providing excellent account management and communication· Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction.· Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with clients to secure new business while ensuring profitability.· Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for new customers.Operational Coordination & Support· Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance) to align sales strategies with service capabilities.· Provide input to leadership on pricing strategies and service offerings to remain competitive in the market.· Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and customers.Performance & Reporting· Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).· Maintain accurate sales records, CRM data, and pipeline updates.· Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.Qualifications & SkillsRequired:· Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).· 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.· Strong knowledge of 3PL services, including warehousing, freight brokerage, and distribution.· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.· Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at various levels.· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.Preferred:· Experience with Mass Retail Distribution and Fulfillment· Knowledge of product packaging and display build· Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment and last-mile delivery solutions.· Familiarity with logistics pricing structures and contract negotiation.· Experience with International ManufacturersBenefits & Compensation· Competitive salary plus commission structure· Health, dental, and vision insurance· 401(k) with company match· Paid time off (PTO) and holidays· Professional development and career growth opportunities
