Sr. Account Manager - IT Services (Retail & Consumer Goods)Location: Atlanta, GA/Chicago IL (Local or Nearby Preferred)Employment Type: Full Time / Direct HireTravel: Extensive Domestic Travel (~50%)Domain: Retail & Consumer GoodsJob SummarySr. Account Manager - IT Services (Retail & Consumer Goods Domain)We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Sr. Account Manager to lead enterprise sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and expand key accounts in the IT services space for Retail & Consumer Goods clients. This role requires a hunter and farmer mindset, focusing on new business acquisition, consultative solution selling, and long-term client partnerships at the C-suite level.Unlike traditional product sales roles, this position is centered on selling high-value IT service solutions, including managed services, cloud transformation, digital strategy, cybersecurity, and data analytics. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in enterprise IT sales, P&L management, and revenue expansion, with expertise in tailoring IT solutions to complex business needs.Revenue Growth & Sales LeadershipOwn and drive quota achievement, revenue expansion, and profitability for assigned accounts.Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and close high-value IT service engagements.Prospect and expand client relationships, leveraging up-selling and cross-selling techniques across cloud computing, AI-driven automation, data analytics, managed IT operations, and cybersecurity services.Drive new business acquisition while growing existing accounts, positioning IT services as a key enabler of business transformation.Track and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and revenue performance metrics to ensure sustained growth.Enterprise Sales & Consultative Solution SellingEngage and influence C-suite executives, positioning IT services as a strategic driver for business growth.Utilize solution-based selling to align IT services with clients key business objectives.Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, leveraging industry knowledge, client referrals, and executive networks.Lead the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and deal closure.Collaborate with pre-sales, solutions architects, and delivery teams to design tailored IT service offerings that drive measurable business value.Qualifications & Experience8-10 years of enterprise IT sales experience, with a strong focus on IT services and solution selling.Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and managing large enterprise accounts.Expertise in Retail & Consumer Goods IT solutions, including POS modernization, omnichannel digital transformation, AI-driven customer insights, and cloud-based infrastructure.Deep understanding of IT services such as cloud transformation, AI/ML, cybersecurity, managed services, and IT infrastructure.Exceptional sales acumen, with strong negotiation, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.Experience managing complex sales cycles, negotiating high-value contracts, and working with offshore delivery teams.Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).Willingness to travel domestically (~50%) with occasional international travel.Why Join Us?This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role for a growth-oriented sales leader who thrives in a consultative selling environment.
