We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team and drive revenue growth by expanding our client base within the finance and accounting sector.About the Role:The BDM will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities within the finance and accounting industry. This role requires a strong understanding of the financial and accounting landscape, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of success in placing candidates within this sector. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with existing relationships in place, comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.Responsibilities:Business Development: Proactively identify and target potential clients within the finance and accounting industry, including corporations, financial institutions, and public accounting firms.Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., CFOs, Controllers, Hiring Managers) at existing and prospective client organizations.Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies for generating new leads, including networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms.Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system.Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and provide valuable insights to clients.Candidate Placement Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team to understand client needs and ensure successful candidate placements. Leverage existing network to identify potential candidates.Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline development, and market trends to management.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.Proven track record of success in business development within the finance and accounting recruitment industry is essential.Existing and demonstrable network of contacts within the finance and accounting field (both client and candidate) is required.Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, roles, and industry trends.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
