JOB SUMMARY:As part of the Merchandising team the Marketplace Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our business operations within the Amazon, eBay, and Walmart platforms. The first six months of this position will be focused on catalog listing creation, implementation, and measurement within the Amazon 1P platform, followed by scaling rapidly. The ideal candidate has experience building marketplace business from the ground up with some agency support and direct leadership involvement. Your input and contribution will be essential to the growth of a newer business channel for an established business.1. Strategic Management of Online Sales ChannelsWork closely with leadership to project manage the creation and onboarding of an extensive catalog of items with multiple subcategories and sub brands into the Amazon, eBay, and Walmart platforms.Listing development with direct responsibility for optimized titles, descriptions and back end set up on the Amazon 1P Vendor Central platform.Interpret product errors, create, and manage tickets to resolve issues and ensure catalog health.2. Advertising Placement and CampaignsManage ad agency partners to deliver revenue targets monthly while staying within budget.Deliver data to leadership monthly related to key metrics including ROAS, CTR, CVR, Glance Views, NTB, etc.3. Coordination with Internal TeamsManage inventory levels, fulfillment processes, and logistics to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.Interface with internal teams to provide insights and solve new challenges related to a growing e-commerce business.Work with finance leadership to ensure access to marketplace reporting and data accuracy as it pertains to shipments, returns, and damages.4. Analytics and ReportingUse analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to monitor e-commerce content performance, analyze traffic, and optimize content awareness campaigns.Prepare and present regular performance reports to leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations to increase site traffic and sales conversions.Track and manage the ROI on all digital content, deployment, and effectiveness.5. Compliance and SecurityEnsure the e-commerce advertising and digital assets comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws.Oversee the implementation of necessary cybersecurity measures to protect company IP and digital assets.6. Market and Competitor AnalysisStay informed on e-commerce trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in the automotive sector.Conduct competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of key players in the online automotive space.Propose innovations and strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.Qualifications:Required skills:3-5+ years of experience working with Amazon (1P and 3P experience)1-2+ years working with eBay, Walmart and ecosystems.Well-developed project management skillsRobust critical thinking skillsA professional communicatorDetail oriented with the ability to find and fix errors in large data and alphanumeric sets.Proactive drive and ownership to grow the business.Basic level of proficiency in Word, Outlook, Power PointIntermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to work independently and in a team setting against tight deadlines.Ability to organize and prioritize several tasks and ensure on-time completion.Ability to deliver effective written and verbal presentations.Ability to research, report and analyze data.Maintain and protect proprietary company information.Preferred skills:2+ years of experience managing paid advertising on Amazon, including search and DSP.Amazon Advertising certified.Previous experience using Slack, Monday, Asana, or Trello for multi team projects.Experience working with high AOV consumer brands, ideally in Automotive.Experience working with complex catalogs.Passion for automotive
