80Twenty is a boutique marketing recruitment agency that connects high-growth companies with exceptional candidates.Our client is seeking a Digital Asset Manager / Digital Archivist to develop and maintain an efficient, structured archive of extensive collection of digital and legacy media assets. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in digital asset management (DAM), metadata application, taxonomy development, and archival best practices for image, video, and audio files.Key Responsibilities:Establish and maintain a comprehensive digital asset management system for organizing, tagging, and retrieving digital files.Develop archival standards and best practices to ensure long-term accessibility and preservation.Digitize, organize, and manage legacy media formats to maintain historical integrity and usability.Collaborate with internal teams to understand asset usage needs and improve searchability.Ensure proper metadata tagging and taxonomy structure for optimized file retrieval.Maintain backup solutions and implement digital preservation strategies.Qualifications:Bachelors or Master's degree in Library Science, Information Management, Digital Media, or a related field.3+ years of experience in digital asset management, preferably with multimedia collections.Proficiency in metadata standards, file organization strategies, and archival best practices.Familiarity with digital preservation techniques and secure backup solutions.Strong project management and communication skills.
