They offer a vibrant work environment, continuous learning opportunities, and the chance to lead and inspire a talented team.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of architects and engineers, ensuring effective organization, training, and development.Oversee multiple major projects, including landmark restorations, from planning through construction administration.Direct building envelope inspections and develop restoration designs for facades, roofs, plazas, and garages.Conduct Local Law 11/FISP reporting, including site inspections, condition documentation, and DOB report submissions.Perform structural design for restoration and renovation projects using analysis tools like RAM, STAAD, and RISA.Prepare detailed plans, specifications, and technical documentation.Engage in business development by prospecting new clients and nurturing existing relationships.Estimate project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for proposals.Role Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).7+ years of relevant engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on Local Law 11/FISP projects.Proven expertise managing large-scale projects, including NYC Landmark buildings.Strong background in building envelope inspections, restoration design, and structural analysis.Proficiency with RAM, STAAD, RISA, AutoCAD, and Excel.Experience conducting building inspections from ground level to suspended scaffolding.Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.In-depth knowledge of NYC building codes, regulations, and restoration practices.
