You'll put your hands-on experience to good use. We are looking for an experienced LEED Project Manager to take on high-end and more complex projects while delivering a high level of quality. Key Deliverables include:Simultaneously manage multiple projects with differing scopes, in different stages of design and construction, and with competing priorities and deadlines. Help ensure success of projects by stewarding clients through code building codes and third-party rating systems such as LEED and GreenPoint Rated.Leverage self through others to ensure deliverables are thorough, accurate, and on-time.Assist VCA Principals and Senior Project Managers with their green building projects by reviewing plans and specifications for third-party rating systems and completion of other related green building tasks. Compile and edit technical research and reports;Review Green Building measures and identify where those measures are shown in construction drawings or in specifications. Be able to issue a corrections list describing deficiencies.Light travel to our offices as needed. Establish a personal development plan to build upon and expand your professional skill set. Qualifications:Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Sustainability Business or related disciplines5+ years of professional working experience in Architecture, sustainability, energy, project management, or other related fieldsLEED AP with any specialtyProject management skills and willingness to learn how to lead project teams;Strong communication and writing skills, ultimately used for editing and proposal generation capabilitiesAbility to closely track projects and tasks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of high-quality deliverables and client expectationsProficient computer abilities, particularly Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of energy modeling and energy modeling software applications is a plus.Some travel is expected.VCA Green is a sought after firm that provides green building educational and consulting services to top tier clients including leading architectural firms, builders, developers, and facility owners.
