Title: Land Development Manager Location: Ocala, FL 34474Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 base + bonuses (all in $250K+)Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401k match - 50% up to 6%, 18 days PTO in first year, mortgage discountsDepartment: Land Development/Operations What You'll Be Doing:Directly supervises two or more employees in the Land Development Department, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsConduct business operations for Land DevelopmentPlan, direct, and manage land development activities including planning, design, and developmentDevelop policies for usage, sale of properties and the construction scheduleCreate budgets for the construction of the entrances, lots, amenities and associated infrastructure for company communities, including road, drainage, water, sewer, landscaping, utilities, paving, amenities, etc.Develop and control the departmental overhead budgetCommunicate the status of development projects to the other team membersWhat We're Looking For:Bachelors degree from a four-year college or universityFive to seven years of related experience and/or trainingMust have a vehicle and a valid driver's license (Must drive between development sites)Ability to develop cost-effective solutions as challenges arise
