CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting opportunity to join one of our premier clients team as a Senior Project Manager in the Griffin area. Our client is expanding and has a lot of exciting growth opportunities.This is a direct hire opportunity.The Project Manager supports the order fulfillment of the companys products by processing sale to completion. The Project Manager works closely with Sales, Engineering, Production and Customers to insure a successful completion of projects on time and on budget.Primary Responsibilities:Performs a review of new projects to confirm the cost estimate and time line are achievable, works with the Salesman and Management to clear up any conflicts or misunderstandingsTechnical - verifies that the quote and estimate meet the specifications and customer technical requirements; consult with the Application Engineer as neededPurchase all items on General Arrangement Drawings; purchase and maintains inventory; purchase all Amazon requested items; purchases all office suppliesPerforms month end invoicingPerforms month end General Ledger reconciliationOpen all new orders in appropriate systemsBack up for payroll approvalsWorks with Production Manager on projects to insure dates are met and all questions are answeredReview Build of Materials requirements for projectsSupport ISO9001 accreditationAdditional Responsibilities:Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe mannerAdditional duties as assigned by managerWho We Are Looking For:To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as a manufacturing project manager or purchasing agent, administrative and organizational skills. You should be a critical thinker, able to lead by example, be comfortable with making decisions, show initiative, and a problem solver. Experience creating Excel spreadsheets to include formulas, charts/graphs and pivot tables is also required.Education/Experience:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years' experience as a manufacturing project manager or purchasing agentRequired Qualifications/Skills:Ability to read, analyze and communicate information via spreadsheets, email, drawings and project specificationsAbility to handle pressured situations with professionalism and calmAbility to effectively ask, answer and respond to customer/employee/management questions in a professional and comfortable mannerAbility to communicate plans, goals and information effectively to the workforceSkilled in basic computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and ProjectAble to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawingsTravel to meetings, customer sites and vendor sites will be required. May require some overnight travel.Preferred Qualifications/Skills:Associates Degree and/or 5 years of experience in a Project Manager's Role within Manufacturing or related experience within the industry is preferredManufacturing or related industry experience preferred
