National Construction Project Manager

Summary:The National Project Manager is a position that requires communication skills, flexibility, organization, and more. The National Project Manager will work closely with the operations team to ensure asphalt and concrete paving, maintenance, and repair projects run smoothly from start to finish. This position reports to the Director of Construction. Occasional travel will be a part of this position's duties. This is a hybrid role, with our office in Richmond, IL being the home base.Essential Functions:Manage select national projects by collecting documentation, review all reports and photos submitted, etc.Manage, approve, and process change order requestsApprove invoice amounts and manage the percent complete report on projectsCommunicate with subcontractors regularly to manage construction projects from the Pavement Solutions officeCommunicate with onsite superintendents regularly to ensure required reporting is being completed and collectedCommunicate with various project vendors when neededCommunicate with customers and provide effective customer serviceLearn and navigate customer portals to help with administrative tasks such as invoicing, purchase orders, change orders, etc.Update the CRM to reflect accurate and reportable data for ongoing projectsOccasionally assist in bidding events when requiredGather close-out documents and create close-out packages when neededEncourage process improvements to streamline projects and programsJob Requirements:Organizational skillsInterpersonal skillsAbility to work well with as a part of a teamHigh sense of urgency to expedite solutions to issuesDedication to Pavement Solutions' core valuesAbility to communicate with internal and external partnersAbility to multi-task and rearrange priorities as neededEffective project and time management skillsEducation and Experience:MS Office Skills including Excel is requiredExperience in using online portals is requiredConstruction experience is preferredKnowledge of CRM databases is preferredBachelor's degree is preferredBachelor's degree in Construction Management is a plusPavement Solutions, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
