Title: Cloud Platform Program Manager (Capacity Planning)Location: Menlo Park, CADuration: 9 MonthsProject OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled technical program manager, with experienced Cloud capacity planning and efficiency to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, specifically with one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing cloud infrastructure and usage, managing budgets, allocation of compute and storage capacity and ensuring efficiency across multiple teams.Responsibilities:Optimize cloud infrastructure and usage for efficiency and cost-effectiveness Manage allocation and ensure that spending is aligned with business objectives Identify and implement cost-saving measures, such as rightsizing resources and eliminating unused assetsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets business needsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design documentsProvide technical guidance and support to other teams, as neededStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvementsMust-Have SkillsCloud Platforms: Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Python Programming: Proficiency in Python programming languageCloud Security: Strong background in cloud securityTechnical Leadership: Proven experience as a technical leaderNice-to-Have SkillsDocker: Experience with containerization using DockerDevOps Tools: Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologiesCloud Cost Optimization: Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniquesCompensation:The estimated pay range for this position is USD $71.00/Hr - USD $76.00/Hr.Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.Benefits:We offer comprehensive benefit options which vary depending on role, location, and employment type.
