Role: Construction SuperintendentSalary: Up to $120,000Location: Chicago ILWe are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to work with a one of the most respected general contractors in Chicago. Your day to day involves overseeing and managing construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and possess excellent leadership abilities.Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers- Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site- Conduct quality control inspections- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and schematics- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog, ProCore, and Bluebeam- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholdersExperience:- Previous experience in a construction superintendent role- Proficiency in managing construction sites and teams- Knowledge of quality control processes- Strong leadership and supervisory skills- Familiarity with Ohmmeter usage for electrical systems is a plusThis position offers the opportunity to lead and build exciting projects while ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the construction process.
