General DescriptionUnder the direction of the Project Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible for being the main point of contact for customers, both internal and external. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan and locate appropriate resources (labor, material, and equipment) needed to achieve project goals.Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risk, and develop, recommend, and execute resolutions.Effectively communicate project updates to project members and supervisors in a timely and clear fashion.Ensure availability and delivery of appropriate material and equipment needed at remote installation sites.Develop, manage, and report on project budgets to executive team.Identify and effectively communicate (written and verbal) risks that may impact successful completion of project.Resolve client's needs be determining the overall method of approach in accordance with the company's policies, practices, and procedures.Establish and maintain effective and positive company/business relationships.Assist in developing best practices and tools for project execution and management. Lead project meetings externally and internally.Ensure the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, documentation, files, records, etc.QualificationsBachelors degree within industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or project management is desiredLean or Six Sigma Certifications are desired3-5+ years of project engineering experience within manufacturingFamiliarity with 3D/CAD system with proficiency in SolidWorks preferable.Demonstrate proficiency with computer skills MS Office, MS Project, or Smartsheet.Ability to read blueprints is required.
