Position: Electrical EstimatorReports to: Estimating Manager/Director of Project ManagementAbout UsReinicke Athens Inc. Today, we are honored to call many Fortune 500 companies and major general contractors our clients.Position SummaryRAI is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to bid projects ranging from $200,000 to $15,000,000 and perform project management duties as needed.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage projects as needed on estimates wonPrepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimateAttend pre-bid meetings and/or tour job sites to confirm requisite take-offsMaintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including information on pricing from suppliers obtained through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, software uploads, etc.Support other department personnel as required, which may include assisting with estimates in other disciplinesReview design options and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and/or availability of materialsInterface with clients on bid-walksProvide support to field operations regarding electrical estimatesFrequent day travel throughout the Southeast (overnight stays are rare if local to the Athens, GA area)QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience as an estimator in the electrical construction industry for heavy commercial or industrial projectsKnowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the electrical industryWorking knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost controlAbility to interpret computerized cost data and systemsAbility to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlinesProficient with Microsoft OfficeElectrical field experience preferredEstimating software experience; Accubid experience preferredWhy RAI?Committed to Integrity, Safety, Quality, and Results in all we doAISC Certified with an impeccable safety record and commitment to our clients and employees as individuals; in the 99th percentile for contractors in our classSteady growth and continual innovation to propel further growthFounded on family values and principlesFocused on work/life balanceRewardsCompetitive salary packagesHealthcare benefitsPaid Time Off (PTO) and company-paid holidays401k with company matchAnnual bonus programIndividualized growth plans supported by quarterly/annual career discussions/reviews with managementAdditional rewards offered for commitment to service excellenceHeadquartered in Athens, GA, with either relocation assistance or the potential for a remote or hybrid option to be discussedAdditional InformationThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
