Summary:As a Materials Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the materials management process to ensure efficient production operations.You will be responsible for inventory control, production planning, warehouse management, supplier management, and logistics coordination.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, lean manufacturing principles, and experience with Oracle EBS.Responsibilities:Stay on top of projects material status: Manage material and delivery schedules to ensure materials will come on time and avoid line-down situationsLook for all possibility ways to solve the material shortage - Spot market, brokers, suppliers or coordinate with Customer to resolve the shortage.Work with suppliers to resolve the material shortageActively con call with client providing the material status.PB material shortage report updated providers.Negotiate quotations with brokers to obtain the best possible pricing with a reasonable lead timeProvide quotations of raw materials to end customer and monitor the logistics process to ensure that shipments will be ready and delivered on-timeSolve the incoming shipments material issue such as quality issues, RMA request, and etc.Material repair coordination either on or off site.Material returns credit memo tracker.Coordinate with Incoming Quality Assurance dept. to resolve material discrepancies (EX. Missing drawing, unknown lot/date codes, & missing components)Consistently follow up with customs brokers by providing necessary documentation, signatures, approvals, and codes to avoid logistical delays of material shipmentsEnsure that RMAs are processed correctly by the supplier and monitoring when the credit or replacement materials will arriveActively communicate with internal PE to ensure BOM is up to date and accurateWork with receiving department to resolve receiving discrepancies to prevent delaySynchronize with internal CFT (PM, WH, & Production teams) on material status to align with production build plans, inform CFT which builds are CTB and which are notManage and assist buyers in regards to expediting materials, requesting samples, resolve and manage PO issues.Working with Suppliers for alternated parts suggestions.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience in materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.Experience with supplier management and contract negotiations.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsMinimum 1-2 years of professional experience in supply chain or OEM managementExperience in using SAP or any related ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System) is a plus.Must have strong written comprehension and verbal communication skillsProficient in computer literacy and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
