Looking for Candidates in the Round Rock, Austin, Hutto, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Leander, Jollyville, or Taylor area. This position will be located in our Round Rock, TX office.MBA Energy & Industrial, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager for assisting the Project Manager and supporting the Superintendent in preparing, monitoring, and adjusting project deliverables, as well as managing schedules, submittals, PO's, plan document management, project specifications, purchasing, and other tasks related to the project.The Project Engineers responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager with managing oil & gas projects. They perform routine daily activities and assist in gathering and distributing information to team members. Possesses strong written and verbal communications skills and manages time effectively. Shows strong self-motivated tendencies and seeks to anticipate activities and assignments.Responsibilities include:· Procurement and coordination of project materials and equipment· Analyze and acquire subcontractor services and material purchases· Process submittals, schedules, and other necessary project documents· Review/negotiate proposal pricing from subcontractors and material vendors· Clarify subcontractors' scope of work and prepare cost estimates and proposals· Collection and filing of weekly project reports and photos· Visit jobsites to evaluate progress and verify design and safety requirements· Design drawing/submittal review and coordination with design team· Ensure company procedures and standards are maintained· Take notes and publish meeting minutes for group meetings· Maintain, create & distribute project documents & logs as needed· Identify and evaluate options for new potential vendors for projects· General Contract and Subcontract administration support· Participation in/documentation of project coordination meetings· Change order documentation and associated cost reportingQualifications:· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering· General knowledge of construction principles/practices· Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment· Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills· Ability to multi-task· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Additional Requirements/Details:· Travel required: 30%
