Project Manager

CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN METRO-DETROIT AREA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITIONOverview:Jomar Valve, a manufacturer and distributor of innovative plumbing, industrial and HVAC components is seeking a Project Manager to join the team. This role requires excellent project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle. Hybrid remote work can be made available under the proper conditions.Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive product launch plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocationCollaborate with product launch team members to define launch objectives and strategiesCoordinate with engineering teams to ensure product readiness and manage technical dependenciesPartner with the marketing department to develop effective positioning, messaging, and promotional materialsWork with sales to communicate timelines, create training materials if needed, and support the development of sales strategiesMonitor and report on launch progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting post-launch reviews and implementing lessons learnedSuccessfully collaborating with different vendors by defining the scope and deliverables, monitoring and measuring their performance, and managing risks and contingenciesLearning industry best practices for successful product launches and incorporating them into future company launchesAssist Marketing department with general tasks including but not limited to promotion and marketing of productsAssist Engineering department with various tasks involving product technical support and product sales support Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related roleProven track record of successfully launching products in a fast-paced environmentStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organizationAnalytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisionsDeep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapeExperience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.Familiarity with market research techniques and data analysis.Strong presentation and public speaking skills.Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teamJomar Valve is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
