Job Description:This is a highly visible Supply Chain role tasked with defining supply strategies for goods and services essential to supporting new product launches and promotional events. The role involves executing new menu items, promoting existing offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing supply plans, ensuring availability, and aligning efforts with the overall business objectives of each promotion. The role of the NP&P Manager is to plan, execute and finalize projects adhering to strict deadlines. This includes acquiring resources and working with team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.Functional Competencies:Attention To Detail - Accomplishes tasks and processes accurately and completely. Builds and maintains ongoing, collaborative working relationships with coworkers, customers and suppliers to enable individuals to understand agendas and perspectives of others, identify potential sources of opportunities or problems before they come to a head to better facilitate long term system benefits by recognizing and effectively balancing the interests and needs of one's own group with those of the broader organization(s)Duties:Logistics and Optimization: Work in conjunction with LXP/HAVI to determine the most beneficial freight scenario for the product launch.Cost Management: Achieve short- and long-term cost objectives for specific projects.Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders through trust, transparency, communication, and credibility to achieve strategic goals.Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate effectively with Quality Systems, Field Supply Chain, and new product teams to ensure seamless operations.Contingency Planning: Develop and maintain functional supplier contingency plans to assure supply for the duration of the promotion.Risk Management: Identify and assess risks (both opportunities and threats) related to products, suppliers, or categories, and implement strategies to mitigate, exploit, or manage them effectively.Strategic Visioning: Develop and articulate credible visions and competitive strategies aligned with McDonald's goals.Goal Setting and Prioritization: Establish and prioritize category goals, focusing on mission-critical tasks, removing roadblocks, and driving results.Supplier Liaison and compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact between suppliers and the McDonald's System. Set performance expectations for each supplier and monitor for the duration of a project. Ensure suppliers meet McDonald's business and quality standards.Capital Investment: Gain senior leadership approval for any required capital investment associated with a project.Problem Resolution: Lead in resolving issues and communicating solutions to relevant System stakeholders.Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the resident expert for assigned categories.Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.ADA Requirements:Travel to supplier and test locations; exposure to noise in manufacturing facilities; fluctuations in temperature/humidity and dust. Prolonged sitting at desktop.Education/Skills/Qualifications:Requires degree in business, math or science; 5-7 years' experience in food manufacturing, food commercializationPMP certification a plus. Manufacturing knowledge/experience a plus.Direct work experience in project management capacity.Proven experience in strategic planning, change mgmt.Supply Chain Experience 5-7 years (food service preferred)Cross-functional Expertise - Track record of working collaboratively.Benefits:This position is benefit eligible
