Project Manager

Our client one of the nations top commercial contractors are looking to add to their team a Project Manager. This role is to be based in Baton Rouge, LA and will be accountable for the progress and successful completion of a wide range of sites. The company are an employee owned business that specialize in education, healthcare, hospitality, office and retail projects with an average size project between $10M - $50M.Responsibilities:Review budget and project documents with project teamResponsible for leadership of assigned project staffMonitor construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budgetComplete project buyout process within approved timeline of project commencement date, negotiating final cost and scope of workManage all financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interestVisit jobsite on a weekly basis to verify the quality of work being performed, assist project supervision in making certain subcontractors are performing as agreed, confirm progress according to the project scheduleOversee facilitation of monthly billings submitted by vendorsExperience:Bachelors Degree in construction management, engineering, or related disciplineMinimum 3 years' experience as a Project ManagerCommercial project experienceStrong leadership skillsCompensation:$120,000 - $160,000 base salaryBenefits:401kEmployee Stock OwnershipPaid bonusVehicle allowancePTO
