Title: R&D Project ManagerLocation: Louisville, KYWe are seeking a dedicated R&D Project Manager to lead and coordinate various research and development projects. The R&D Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing cross-functional teams and balancing the demands of multiple projects. Knowledge of project management methodologies and an understanding of product development processes will be key to success in this role.QualificationsProven work experience (5+ years) as an R&D Project Manager. Preferably in the automated equipment industry.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Experience in project management methodologies and tools, including proficiency with project management software.Strong knowledge of product development processes.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional R&D project schedules.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationResponsibilitiesPlan and implement R&D projects, defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.Develop and manage project schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion of project goals.Coordinate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, controls, procurement, finance and accounting as well as the executive leadership team to align project objectives with company goals, and to maintain project schedule and efficiency.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths, and maintain project plans and documentation.Oversee all stages of the product development process, including initial concept, technical design, prototype, and manufacturing.Perform risk management to minimize project risks and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.Prepare and present project status and cost reports to stakeholders and senior management.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Manage AEGIS Warehouse Technician Team.
