It also allows you to make even more as you grow.Job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. This role combines project management expertise with estimating skills to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, cost estimation, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and ensuring client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Project Management:Lead and manage multiple construction projects from start to finish.Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and labor.Ensure adherence to safety standards, local regulations, and quality control procedures.Manage and resolve any project issues, conflicts, or delays in a timely manner.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.Monitor project budgets, controlling costs and avoiding overages. Monitor project performance and make adjustments as needed to stay within scope, budget, and timeline.Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders.Lead project teams, including subcontractors, labor, and support staff.Estimating:Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overheads.Review project specifications and drawings to assess the scope of work and estimate material and labor requirements.Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating and selecting the most cost-effective options.Perform quantity take-offs and assess the labor and material costs.Analyze project risks and potential cost impacts.Develop and maintain a pricing database for standard construction materials and labor.Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and ensure alignment with the final bid.Client Relations:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that expectations are met or exceeded.Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, cost, and schedule.Address client concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Science (preferred), Civil Engineering, or a related field.Bilingual Preferred (Spanish)A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the construction industry.Experience in residential and commercial projects.Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices.Proficiency in construction software ( Buildertrend, Revit or similar).Excellent understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and local construction laws.Worked before with DOB o DCRAProven experience in budgeting, cost control, and risk management.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor and subcontractor relationships.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Estimating (e.g., AACE) is a plus.Job Details:Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year + BONUSCompensation package: bonus opportunitiesExpected hours: 50 per weekWork Location: Multiple locations, DMV area.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
