Please note that this is a (contract/contract to hire/direct hire) opportunity with our client and NOT with Core BTS.Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Financial Management (FM) system in collaboration with client leadership and a staff workgroup. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, including requesting proposals (RFP) from vendors, overseeing the selection process, and ensuring successful implementation of the EHR and FM system. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within the healthcare sector, particularly in Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC), and a deep understanding of EMR/EHR conversions and integrations with financial software and other clinical applications. Key Responsibilities will be managed through participation with the existing client work groups: Lead the planning, execution, and closing of the EHR implementation project. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with organizational structure and goals. Finalize the RFPs and issue to potential vendors and manage the vendor selection process. Oversee the implementation of the EHR system, ensuring it meets all regulatory and compliance standards with clinical and financial workflows. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Ensure proper training and support for staff during and after the implementation process. Manage integrations with financial software programs and other clinical web-based applications such as Surescripts, labs, pharmacies, and health exchanges. Work with the finance team to implement a new Financial Software Package, to include Accounts Payable, General Ledger and financial reporting. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, preferably in the healthcare sector. Proven experience with EHR/EMR/FM conversions and implementations. Strong knowledge of healthcare/clinical operations, particularly within CCRC communities. Experience with financial software programs and their integration with EHR systems. Experience with integrations involving EHR products like Surescripts, labs, Epic, Healthcare exchanges, pharmacies, and other clinical web based applications. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software and tools. PMP or similar project management certification is preferred. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in healthcare (skilled nursing, personal care, and independent living). Experience working with various EHR systems and vendors. Experience working with financial software, including Accounts Payable, GL and reporting. Strong problem-solving,decision-making and communication skills and abilities.
