Job Description:We are representing a leading general contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Our client is committed to excellence, safety, and efficiency, and they are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee on-site construction operations and ensure successful project completion.The Opportunity:As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing daily field operations, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Project Execution & Site OversightLead and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.Develop and implement site logistics plans and coordinate daily construction operations.Ensure all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and contract requirements.Safety & Quality ControlEnforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies, maintaining a zero-incident job site.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and safety compliance.Address and resolve any safety concerns or construction issues in a timely manner.Schedule & CoordinationWork closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules.Identify and resolve potential delays, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal disruptions.Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.Communication & LeadershipAct as the primary field liaison between project managers, clients, engineers, and inspectors.Lead daily site meetings to review progress, safety protocols, and upcoming work.Train, mentor, and develop junior site staff and subcontractors to maintain high performance.Resource & Budget ManagementMonitor and manage labor, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity.Ensure timely material deliveries and coordinate with procurement teams as needed.Assist in tracking change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction.Proven track record of managing field operations on mid-to-large-scale construction projects.Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and subcontractor coordination.Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, quality control, and construction best practices.Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or other construction management software is a plus.
