This role requires extensive knowledge of DOT regulations, bidding processes, and project execution. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to accurately estimate costs, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure successful completion of multiple DOT-focused projects from start to finish.Key Responsibilities:Estimate and bid DOT projects, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare detailed, competitive cost estimates.Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and delivery schedules.Prepare and present bid proposals, ensuring all costs are accounted for and competitive within the DOT framework.Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary data for accurate estimating.Maintain and update historical cost data and project records for DOT-related work.Monitor and track project costs, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial objectives.Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with DOT standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.Act as the primary point of contact for DOT agencies, inspectors, stakeholders, and project teams.Stay up to date with DOT specifications, industry trends, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and compliance.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating and project management, with a strong focus on DOT projects.Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Extensive knowledge of DOT bidding processes, regulations, and construction standards.Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift).Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple DOT projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Detail-oriented with a strong ability to track costs, analyze data, and make informed financial decisions.Benefits:Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.Full health benefits covered by the company.Retirement savings plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Work in a growing, industry-leading company with a strong reputation in DOT and civil construction.If you have extensive DOT experience and want to play a key role in managing high-impact infrastructure projects, apply today!
