Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join a top General Contractor in Greenville, SC. This role will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing various commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Project Coordination: Assist in managing all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.Scheduling & Logistics: Work closely with the project team to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.Budget Management: Assist in tracking project budgets, reviewing invoices, processing change orders, and maintaining financial documentation.Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and work completion.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.Experience: 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in project management or coordination roles.Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of Industry Standards: Understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, contracts, and safety regulations (OSHA).Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.Benefits & Compensation:Competitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match
