Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join one of their general contracting construction clients in the Norfolk-Virginia Beach area. The Construction Project Manager will serve as the lead for pre-award planning, bid and estimate preparation, contract negotiations, staffing, mobilization logistics, work scheduling and production, overall contract/budget management, and close out on assigned projects. As the leader of the team, the Construction Project Manager will support field office efforts to optimize project and team performance through regularly scheduled meetings, site visits, and effective communication with all stakeholders. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with home office staff responsible for support activities including monthly fiscal and management reports, invoicing, safety, and quality control directives, and will use their leadership position to support company goals and policies.Additional responsibilities include:Oversee planning, execution, and completion of various construction projectsCollaborate directly with contractors, suppliers, owner representatives, and Paragon supervisors/superintendents to ensure projects are managed safely, efficiently and to a high-quality standardWork directly with the Site Superintendent to coordinate crews and manage subcontractors/suppliers to optimize production and project performance on medium (>$1m) and large (>$10m) projectsPrepare and manage estimates, budgets, and resource loaded schedulesEnsure compliance with legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements applicable to each projectTrack progress of onsite work to ensure the project meets the objectives, schedule, and budgetMaintain relationships with clients and operations managerProvide clear and concise status reports to the management teamProvide quality control oversight of site work to confirm that work is being conducted in accordance with the plans and specificationsWork with project team and project quality control personnel to take corrective actions to maintain and advance project milestonesCommunicate corporate safety policies to team members and enforce safety regulations to ensure work is performed in a safe mannerEnsure field staff conduct daily on-site tailgate meetings with staff and subcontractorsParticipate in site walks, generate bids, produce estimates, and prepare cost proposal packages for new projectsMust haves:Bachelor's degree8+ years' federal construction experienceNAVFAC or USACE experienceOSHA 30 CertificateMicrosoft Office experienceExperience using a scheduling software - Blue Beam, PDF Soft, Adobe, Primavera, or similar softwarePlusses:PMP CertificationProcore experienceUSACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) TrainingMicrosoft Suite including project experiencePrimavera P6 ExperienceFirst Aid/CPR Training
