Job Title: Technical Project Manager (AWS, Big Data, Microservices)Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)Job Type: Long-Term ContractAbout the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in AWS cloud technologies, big data processing, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience leading technical projects that involve AWS CDK, S3, Glue, EMR, Spark, and Airflow while working closely with software development teams. This role requires a strong technical background in cloud-native applications, big data, and containerized or serverless microservices, rather than CRM or ERP-related AWS experience.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage technical projects focused on AWS cloud infrastructure, big data processing, and microservices architectures.Collaborate with development teams to drive the design, implementation, and deployment of scalable solutions using AWS CDK, containerized or serverless architectures.Oversee projects involving big data technologies such as S3, Glue, EMR, Spark, and Airflow, ensuring seamless data workflows and processing pipelines.Work closely with stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives and technical feasibility.Drive Agile methodologies while maintaining a hands-on approach to technical project execution.Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Provide technical guidance and direction to cross-functional teams.International travel to India required on a quarterly basis.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in cloud-native, big data, or microservices-driven environments.Proven expertise in AWS technologies, particularly AWS CDK, S3, Glue, EMR, Spark, and Airflow.Strong background in microservices architecture, including experience with containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) or serverless deployments.Hands-on experience working with software engineering teams to build and deploy cloud-based applications.Deep understanding of big data processing, ETL pipelines, and workflow orchestration.Experience in Agile project management, with a track record of delivering complex technical solutions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications:Technical background in software engineering, cloud architecture, or data engineering.Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and tools.AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Big Data, etc.) are a plus.Prior experience in the travel industry is a big plus.
