We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Director to lead our organization in achieving its goals.Position Overview:The Executive Director (ED) provides strategic leadership to formulate and implement RHDC's mission, strategies, and programs. The ED will oversee strategic planning, resource development (fundraising), real estate development, resident programs, and compliance management. Collaborating with the Board of Directors, the ED will identify priorities for growth and increased impact. This role requires a visionary leader committed to expanding affordable housing and community development.Key Responsibilities:1.RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT:Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial resources from individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community leaders.Prepare grant proposals and reports to ensure continued funding.2.REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT:Oversee planning, development, and management of affordable housing projects.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies for compliance.Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion.3.PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:Create programs that enhance residents quality of life in RHDC-managed communities.Engage residents in planning and execution, ensuring their voices are valued.Measure and report on program impacts.4.ADMINISTRATION:Manage operations, budgeting, staffing, and reporting.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Foster a positive organizational culture promoting teamwork and innovation.5.MISCELLANEOUS:Participate in strategic planning and community engagement initiatives.Develop marketing strategies to promote RHDC's mission and projects.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in public administration, urban planning, social work, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in nonprofit management, particularly in fundraising and affordable housing development.Strong understanding of community development principles and practices.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and community members.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a nonprofit organization.Proven track record of successful program development and evaluation.Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with experience in budget management.Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing non-profit organizations and affordable housing.Passion for community development and a commitment to serving diverse populations.Compensation:Competitive salary based on experience.Benefit packages available.
