Our Art4Healing® method is designed for non-artists and artists alike, offering workshops at our facility and various locations, including hospitals, treatment centers, schools, and military facilities in support of mental health.Role DescriptionThis is a non-profit Board of Directors role located on-site in Laguna Hills, CA. Board members are volunteers with no compensation, and responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to the organization, ensuring adherence to our mission and goals, participating in fundraising efforts, and representing the organization in the community. This position requires a commitment to attending board meetings, engaging in discussions, and supporting the organizations vision. (Must reside locally near Laguna Hills, CA)QualificationsExperience in nonprofit governance, strategic planning, and fundraisingStrong leadership and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesKnowledge of the local community and connections to potential supportersPassion for the arts and the mission of emotional healingAbility to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholdersPrevious board or committee experience is desirableBachelors degree in a relevant field
