Construction Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. You will be responsible for managing project timelines regarding the projects scope and/or timing, as well as monitoring the cost and progress of the project. You will assist in the development of cost estimates and tentative schedules. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer with a strong background in construction project management and a proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects from start to finish. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction industry is required.Key **Lead the engineering and technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring that all project phases are completed on time and within budget.Develop and manage project schedules, cost estimates, and procurement plans.Oversee and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other necessary paperwork.Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, and senior management, to provide updates and resolve issues.Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project delays or budget overruns.Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and construction industry standards.Manage project closeout, including final inspections, completion reports, and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.**Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in construction project engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish, including managing budgets, schedules, and teams.In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety standards.Strong understanding of project management software (e.g., Procore, BlueBeam, Microsoft Project).Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.Strong understanding of contract negotiation, change management, and construction-related legal requirements.If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for engineering projects and a desire to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply for the position of Project Engineer.
