Senior Civil EngineerSalary Range: $120,000 - $140,000Are you a skilled Civil Engineer looking for an opportunity to lead impactful projects and shape communities? We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team, bringing expertise in land development for institutional, retail, and commercial building projects. This is a chance to play a pivotal role in designing innovative and efficient technical solutions while working on a diverse range of projects.What You'll Do:Serve as a technical expert on land development projects, providing innovative and effective engineering solutions.Lead the civil engineering design process for institutional, retail, multi-family housing, and commercial developments.Prepare detailed engineering analyses, including preliminary design, budget analysis, and system selection.Develop civil construction documents, such as site demolition plans, erosion and sediment control plans, grading and drainage plans, utility plans, and more.Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, engineering standards, and best practices.Investigate non-routine compliance issues and coordinate with local authorities for code interpretations.Research and analyze project data, specifications, and design proposals to determine feasibility and application.Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, and quality control, ensuring client expectations are met.Provide construction administration support, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and coordinating with contractors and project stakeholders.Conduct field observations, attend project meetings, and recommend design solutions.Communicate and collaborate with architects, owners, vendors, and other engineering disciplines throughout the design phases.Lead and mentor engineering team members, ensuring long-term growth and succession planning.What We're Looking For:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Professional Engineer (PE) license in Idaho (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).8+ years of experience in civil land development design.Strong engineering project management experience.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present and negotiate critical issues effectively.Why Join Us?Competitive salary: $120,000 - $140,000.Opportunity to lead and grow a civil engineering team.Work on diverse and impactful projects that shape communities.A collaborative and supportive team environment.Our client is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants regardless of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, pregnancy, genetic information, retaliation for protected activity, protected veteran or disabled status, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state and local laws.If you're passionate about civil engineering and want to make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you!
