Coesia has 141 operating units in 35 countries, a turnover of about 1.9 billion euros and over 8,000 employees.About the RoleThis position is remote but will require regular travel across North America including Mexico and Canada, opportunity for travel and training overseas in Europe too. The role is primarily engaged in the installation and service in the field for personalization systems and inline digital print systems. This includes installation, troubleshooting, training, machine validation and in-house service for Atlantic Zeiser customers in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico and other support and service-related activities, as required. Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Troubleshooting and commissioning mechanical machinery and electrical and software control systems.Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.Performing field installations and providing training at client facilities.Troubleshooting equipment through phone support to clients.Creating and organizing documentation and reports for clients and office personnel.Travel to customer sites, often with little notice.Interact with customers to explain issues and offer solutions.What You Need to Be SuccessfulHigh level experience in trouble shooting complex machinery.Strong electrical and software skills (Software download, PLC configuration) and moderate mechanical skills.Knowledge of IT networks (Ethernet, Router, Gateway, TCP/IP)Analytical problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform, Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and file management.Ability to perform preventative or corrective maintenance on robotics systems complex machinery and components.Background in Form/Fill/Seal Thermoforming, Strip Packaging or Printing card personalization or printing systems preferred.Necessities travelling extensively including unscheduled last-minute travel, as well as going abroad outside of the U.S. to customer sites and for trainings.Reading and understand schematics, assembly drawings, and service manuals.Making rational decisions under pressure to ensure customer satisfaction.Interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Supporting technical questions and concerns via customer phone contact.Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.Strong drive toward quality and customer satisfaction.Willingness to work 8+ hour days, including over-time as needed.Valid driver's license, passport, and willingness to fly to sites as needed.Our Offer Coesia North America offers a competitive benefit package which includes, among other things:Multiple health insurance plan options.Company paid life insurance.401k with up to 6% company match.Paid parental leave.Company credit card and concur account for expenses during customer visits.Per diems included in miles reimbursement for driving, working over-time, and when physically on-site at a customer location.
