The ideal candidate will be an innovative and creative problem solver, eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with a customer-focused team dedicated to delivering impactful solutions. In this role, you will take the lead in hardware development across all stages, from concept through design, testing, and manufacturing, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency throughout the process. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, with a strong understanding of IEC requirements and industry best practices. **Electrical Engineer Responsibilities Include but not limited *Lead hardware development through all phases, including concept creation, design, testing, documentation, and manufacturingSelect and specify electronic and electrical components based on key factors such as function, cost, availability, reliability, etc. ensuring optimal integration into productsWork closely with Mechanical Engineers to develop electromechanical solutions and software Engineers to develop embedded software solutionsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements per IEC and FCC requirements throughout the development and production processesProvide ongoing support for existing products, including hardware updates for EOL parts, cost reductions, the introduction of new features, and the improvements of the manufacturing processes*** Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering5+ years related engineering work experienceExperience with electrical schematic design, circuit simulations and multi-layer PCB layouts (Altium Designer preferred)Experience designing and developing embedded electronic systems for industrial productsWorking knowledge of IEC standards and EMC testing CEM Corporation is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
