Manufacturing Engineer

Job **We are seeking a Process Engineer III to support the qualification and ramp-up of high-speed cable manufacturing process equipment. This role requires hands-on involvement in process control, variability reduction, defect reduction, and Six Sigma (DMAIC) problem-solving. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and drive continuous improvement.Key *Lead process improvements, defect reduction, and Six Sigma initiatives.Utilize engineering tools (SPC, DoE, PEX, Six Sigma) to monitor and optimize manufacturing processes.Troubleshoot and resolve process issues using data-driven decision-making.Develop standard work documentation (SOPs, SOS, Job Aids, Training Docs).Conduct experiments to enhance process understanding and technology deployment.Present process updates and findings to leadership teams.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Required *Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Hands-on manufacturing expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in process control, variability reduction, and throughput improvement.Proficiency in data analysis software (JMP, Minitab, Power BI).Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.Six Sigma certification preferred.Work Schedule & *Standard 40-hour workweek, with potential for weekends/holidays based on project needs.**** Hickory/Newton, NC.
