*** Multifamily & Mixed Use Experts Only****This high growth opportunity is for Project Managers looking for a step up on the leadership ladder OR for senior project managers who know how to own multiple high end residential/mixed use projects at a time. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing $30M - $80M ground up multifamily/mixed use projects in the Los Angeles Metro region from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator. Their state of the art offices are based in Burbank and the successful candidate must be able to be in office and be willing to travel to sites in LA when required.If your still reading this, please review the responsibilities and qualifications below and apply...ResponsibilitiesManage project scheduling and contract negotiationsParticipate in the planning process by providing budget information to property developersDevelop a bid list for assigned projects, analyze bids, pre-qualify contractors, and award project to selected contractor(s)Be responsible for meeting financial, budget, and forecasting objectives and requirementsEstablish and monitor construction schedule, track, and monitor construction progress through site reportsPerform onsite inspections to ensure standards are being met and construction is adhering to plans and specificationsEnsure project costs are aligned with approved budgets as well as approve contractor invoices and change order requestsLead project to timely completion, to scope and budget projections and obtain certificate of occupancyFunction as positive, proactive liaison between multiple onsite teams, the development arm, third party groups, and corporate office departments, supporting effective and productive communication between all stakeholders Hire, manage, and direct your internal team of Project Engineers, Project Managers, and SuperintendentsQualificationsBachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field10+ years' experience in Construction or related field7+ years' experience in Multi-Family Construction Project Management7+ years' experience managing othersExperience in podium construction a must.Extensive computer knowledge (Windows), and working knowledge of construction and project management Microsoft - ProjectOSHA 10-hour Certification; issued in the past three years, and current First Aid & CPR training certificate
