"Must have US citizenship or Green Card."Are you a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer seeking an opportunity to lead and innovate? Join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama, where youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aerospace engineering. In this position, you **Lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system designs.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define the product environment.Utilize and develop analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to assess structural environment, characteristics, and performance.Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications.Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.Support in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.Develop analytical processes/tools to enhance the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of development efforts.RequirementsBasic *Proficiency in classical hand analysis and finite element modeling (FEM) techniques.Experience with primary aircraft structural analysis.Integrated design and layout development experience.Preferred *Experience with company-specific structures and tools.Experience with primary aircraft structures.Aerospace industry experience.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Experience with company commercial derivatives in both commercial and military applications (e.g., 737, 747, 757, 777).Required *A bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited course of study, and typically 5 or more years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Masters degree plus 3 years of related work experience).
