Lead Structural Engineer

Position **The structural engineer will be expected to perform work with minimal supervision, and potentially review the work of drafters and junior engineers. Whilst the professional will be assigned scope of projects relating to their experience, they'll also be able to gain experience in naval architecture, pipelines, or other sectors, if they so desire, especially as the company aim to build onshore capabilities. Duties & ** • Act as a Lead Structural Engineer with limited oversight, taking on a project and understanding from the SOW (statement of work) how to trace the flow path, and how to perform analysis and calculations. • Daily work with heavy usage of SACS software. • Occasionally, oversee the work of others, especially with drawings and drafting. • Interact with Project Management, reviewing any changes. • Interact with clients. • Assist the estimating department in estimating project timeline changes or determining engineering hours and execution strategy as required.*****• Bachelors in Engineering • At least 7 years of structural engineering experience within the offshore oil and gas industry. • Senior expert level experience using SACS (Primary focus), STAAD Pro and Revit tools. • Willingness to perform analysis and calculations. • Ability to read and mark up drawings
