This role focuses on ensuring accurate and reliable operation of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) systems, gas chromatography (GC) equipment, and other analytical instruments.Job *Calibrate and maintain analytical laboratory equipment, including HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, balances, and other specialized instruments.Troubleshoot, repair, and verify the performance of analytical equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with established standards.Perform routine maintenance and installation of new analytical instruments.Document calibration results and manage data in the companys asset tracking and calibration management system.Collaborate with quality control, metrology, and other teams to ensure equipment meets operational and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized services and equipment repairs.Adhere to industry standards, such as ISO 17025 and ANSI/Z540-1, in all calibration activities.Support internal and external audits by providing calibration records and technical expertise.Assist in the development of calibration procedures and workflows as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.**2+ years of prior calibration experience, specifically with analytical equipment (e.g., HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometers), is required.Strong practical knowledge of metrology and calibration principles.Familiarity with quality systems and standards, such as ISO 17025 and ANSI/Z540-1, is a must.Proven ability to read and interpret technical schematics, calibration procedures, and equipment manuals.Hands-on experience with analytical instruments in pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industries is highly desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve measurement and equipment issues.Excellent documentation and data management skills.Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.This role is an exciting opportunity for a Calibration Technician to join a growing team, working with cutting-edge analytical instruments in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
