Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment and demonstrating adherence to safety practices.Provide geotechnical engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This may include performing and/or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations, observation and inspection, and the writing, preparation, and review of related proposals and reports for the services provided. Review drawings and construction specifications to assure compliance with our geotechnical report and recommendations. Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, budgets, and recommend changes. Research and resolve design and construction problems.Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for major phases of larger projects or have overall responsibility for the engineering work on projects of moderate scope.Manage geotechnical projects including schedule, budget and quality while maintaining a safe working environment for field personnelProvide oversight and review of projects requiring standard investigation techniques and supervise the analysis and formulation of recommendations in written reports to clients; provides technical review of reports and proposals.Perform calculations, perform analysis and write reports and proposals for standard to complex geotechnical projects
