Pay rate -$75/hr on W2Firmware Test Engineer Job **Firmware QA Engineering .Use detailed test procedures to validate various hardware and software features, identifying functional issues/failures on cutting-edge server systems.Utilize internal hardware test tools, software utilities, or third-party utilities to capture and report failures to engineering and debug teams.Record results/data into a database and write detailed descriptions of observed failures.Validate automated test cases by strictly following documented guidelines and procedures.Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering/Technology or equivalent training and experience.Strong background in computer hardware, software, and PC architecture.** PC hardware and software troubleshooting skills.***** Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Linux experience.Ability to apply knowledge and principles of PC architecture to troubleshoot hardware compatibility issues.Experience with the installation of Linux and Windows operating systems, including device drivers.
